« Les Echos Études » : VINCI CONSTRUCTION CREATES PLENDI, LUXURY “À LA FRANÇAISE”


A new brand of VINCI Construction that brings together the know-how in luxury residential real estate and high-end hotels.

Palaces, luxury buildings and stores … the very high-end projects are on the rise. A segment that the biggest construction companies want to capture. And not only for image issues. The cost of renovating a historic building, for example, can cost twice as much as a conventional structure. Luxury projects require specific know-how and use rare skills that only few companies can master. From technical feats in the structural work to craftsmanship, through the mastery of new technologies … expertise to collect are numerous. To enhance the value of this offering and to respond to the potential of this market, Vinci Construction has regrouped all of its specialized activities under one brand, PLENDI, dedicated to exceptional projects. The team of this new brand has just won their first contract under this new label – the renovation of the Mandarin Oriental hotel in London for a budget of nearly € 70 million. This prestigious project offers Vinci a great showcase of its know-how, particularly in the deployment of BIM, used from the design phase of the project.
