The new “Parisian Apartment” of Mandarin Oriental, signed by PLENDI by VINCI Construction

The Mandarin Oriental and PLENDI by VINCI Construction have signed a third project which continues the collaboration that has united them for several years. The luxury construction brand has designed the brand new Parisian suite, designed by architects Gilles & Boissier.

Located a few steps from Place Vendôme, the Mandarin Oriental Paris hotel inaugurated this summer a new suite called the Paris Apartment. Haussmann-style with many Art Deco touches, this 450-square-foot one-story suite is one of the largest in the capital. It consists of a huge reception area and 4 bedrooms, as well as a magnificent 230 square meter terrace landscaped by Christophe Gautrand, which offers an exceptional view of Paris.

With its mixture of exceptional materials – brushed wood, Arabescato, Crystal White or Venato Fantastico marbles – and architectural details – coffered ceilings inspired by the 1930s – or decorative – gold-toned mural by Alix Waline – this project reveals all the PLENDI know-how. A real challenge when you know that the works were carried out while the hotel was in operation.

PLENDI by VINCI Construction had already carried out between 2008 and 2011 the transformation of this old office building on rue Saint-Honoré, signed by the architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte. The decoration was then entrusted to Sybille de Margerie for the lobby, the rooms and the suites, and to the Jouin Manku agency for the restaurants, notably the Camellia of the famous star chef Thierry Marx.
