Les Rencards du Beau
PLENDI was honored to collaborate with “Où est le beau?” by Hélène Aguilar and RDAI, an architecture, interior architecture and design agency. To bring you the Rencards du Beau.
On 12 April 2023, PLENDI and Hélène Aguilar of “Où est le beau?” organised the first “Rencards du Beau” at the RDAI architecture agency in Paris.
The morning session began with a talk by Pierre Gilbert, futurist, author and co-founder of Sator. Pierre came to talk about his latest discoveries in the field of Hospitality & Biophilia. Cécile Chenais, interior designer with Laurent Maugoust Architecte & Editions and a trained anthropologist, spoke about the levers of influence for responsible design in the hotel industry.
We met again for the second edition, on 31 May 2023. We welcomed a number of new speakers with fascinating topics: Aïna Queroz, ethnobotanist and biologist, author of France’s first podcast on bio-inspiration and plant engineering, shared with us her inspiration for plants in architecture around the world. And finally, in the second half of the morning, we welcomed Youssef Tohmé, architect and urban planner, who came to share his vision of architecture, without limits, – Listening to the present, between intimacy and otherness.
