Design and construction of a 157-room luxury hotel with shops and a car park.
The project comprises five buildings (two new and three refurbished); two-thirds of the project involved new construction and one-third structural rehabilitation.
The 16th, 17th and 19th century buildings are protected as historic monuments and the new buildings will accommodate a fitness centre, a restaurant, a ballroom, a laundry and three kitchens.

Technical solutions were devised to address issues such as:
• Vibrations caused by passing trams, lowering an embankment wall to provide a view of the castle while protecting the site from flooding
• Involvement of archaeologists during the earthworks phase
