PLENDI by VINCI Construction was the partner of the exhibition “AD intérieurs 2019” for the fifth year in a row. The exhibition, which was celebrating its tenth edition, began on September 4th at the Hôtel de Coulanges in the quartier Marais.

 

 

The exhibition “AD intérieurs ” celebrates the high decoration and brings together the best interior designers, who have been selected by the editors of AD Magazine, to decorate rough pieces and show their know-how and style. As the theme of the exhibition this year was “Métamorphoses”, the exhibition was held in a private mansion from the 17th century under transformation, which will be dedicated to fashion and design events.

 

As a partner of the exhibition, PLENDI organized four private visits for its clients, partners and collaborators which was a great opportunity to present the world of PLENDI and to discover the world of interior architecture, luxury and craftsmanship. Founded in 2016 by VINCI Construction, PLENDI is the luxury brand dedicated to exceptional achievements in luxury hotels, high-end residences and palaces, which brings together this same microcosm of interior architecture.

 

The exhibition “AD inter 2019” welcomed more than 20,000 visitors and represents, as every year, the most significant event in the world of decoration.

PLENDI team has finalized the renovation of a private mansion in Paris, in the heart of 16^e arrondissement.

 

 

It’s the private mansion from 1887, with decoration inspired by neo-Renaissance.

 

The renovation included the creation of 3 levels of basement, 15 m of depth, in order to create the biggest private pool in Paris, the cinema, the nightclub and winter garden.

The restoration of the authentic decor, the original ornaments and the decorative painting of the mansion, are custom made, using the old techniques and the exceptional finishes. Thanks to our craftsmen and their specific know-how, all the motifs and the initial decor are redone, while respecting the authenticity of the project.

 

Thanks to our partners – Ateliers Gohard – specialist in the field of luxury decoration, traditional or contemporary gilding and decorative painting, ILDEI – expert in mosaic, marble, decorationa and stone cladding, Sofrastyl – specialized in staff, stucco and custom plastering.

PLENDI by Vinci Construction and GTM Bâtiment Aquitaine finalized the construction of the Hotel Chais Monnet in Cognac (16). This is the rehabilitation of ancestral cellars erected in 1838 on a historic site – the birthplace of Jean Monnet (father of Europe and also producer of Cognac) and the construction of new buildings, forming a harmonious whole that gives the spirit of tranquility and elegance of the place.

 

This exceptional project reflects the modernity of a new hotel and heritage of classicism, in a historic property in the center of Cognac, a city of history. The Hotel Chais Monnet offers, on 2.5 hectares, 92 rooms and suites, 13 apartments, a conference room, a brasserie, a Jazz bar and a gourmet restaurant which aims to be quickly starred in the famous guide Michelin. The wellness area is also designed with a gym, swimming pool, steam room and a contemporary spa.

 

This is the largest industrial complex in the world that has been transformed into a luxury hotel, which is also now a member of the select club “The Leading Hotels of the World”.

 

Throughout the project, PLENDI’s talents showed technical expertise and creative sensitivity, while cultivating a French way of life.

 

Environmental obligations and the conservation of the site have been respected and carried out efficiently by our teams on this site.

For the 4th year, VINCI Construction is a partner of the AD Intérieurs event through its brand PLENDI, dedicated to the achievements of exceptional properties and tailor-made projects, from genesis to realisation.

This unique and original exposition is a number one meeting place in the world of architecture, interior design and craftsmanship. All the most prestigious projects of parisian chic decoration are realised by high quality PLENDI solutions.

Partner of the event for 4 years, PLENDI is surrounded by the great names of French crafts (painters, marble makers, cabinetmakers, …) and presents to its customers and the visitors of this event, a full range of its skills (design, layout, interior architecture, expertise of raw materials, …).

PLENDI exhibition space was conceived this year by the scenographer Vasken Yéghiayan, and arranged thanks to the complicity of BEC, a partner company specialized in layout.

These spaces are composed of wooden palisades, into which are inserted light bricks adorned with photographs illustrating the details, the finishings and the implementation of the materials, that reflect the excellence of PLENDI’s know-how.

This exhibition space is inspired by the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park in London.

The exhibition, that was held from 5 to 23 September 2018, at 15 rue de la Bûcherie in the 5th arrondissement of Paris, was also an opportunity to (re)discover the Hôtel de la Bûcherie, a 15th-century building, classified as a historical monument in order to become in mid-2019 the Company of Philanthropists, a meeting place between patrons and associations.

The pre-eminent, international global luxury magazine “LUX” attended the opening party of the Hotel Chais Monnet in Cognac and has published the story about our latest project of 2018.

All guests could enjoy in this lavish hotel with breathtaking architecture and in the contemporary-luxe auberge decoration by Dider Poignant.

The opening ceremony was attended by Cognac Mayor Michel Gourinchas, architect Didier Poignant, Daniel Theron of ACPH, Xavier Arm General Manager of PLENDI by VINCI Construction, and hotel General Manager Arnaud Bamvens.
